FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What do I need to bring?
A tent, a sleeping bag, extra blankets (the nights have been known to drop down to only a couple degrees some years), bug spray, sunscreen, a jacket (waterproof if you can swing it), a good pair of shoes or boots, extra changes of clothes, an umbrella, snacks, a folding chair, and depending on your registration level - food & water: There are three levels of registration. Be sure to label your possessions if they're going to be left unattended. If it's labelled and forgotten, it'll be easier to get it back to you!

Three levels of Registration?
"Attending Only" does not include any meals, which means you're fending for yourself. Be sure to bring enough food for the four days as no one likes a moocher. "Basic" includes all your meals (Friday (lunch and supper), Saturday and Sunday (breakfast, lunch, and supper), and Monday (breakfast and lunch)).

Rides?
Pop into the forum and check out the "Rides" section to hook up with people in the event you don't have your own transportation, or if you have extra seats to provide for those who need a lift.

What items are not allowed?
Pretty much anything illegal or questionable: drugs; Airsoft guns, paintball guns; and other weapons (plastic toys like water guns and Nerf are fine).

Will there be booze?
Alcohol is permitted on site, but must remain on site. Bring your own, and no drinking and driving.

Is there water on site?
There is, but it's not potable out of the pump or river; it must be boiled first. It's probably best to bring a few bottles of water.

What if I have special dietary requirements?
Depending on your sensitivities, the menu may not cater to your requirements. E-mail thallanor@furthestnorth.ca with your requirements.
